Hopes, wishes and desires, all
orphans of unrequited ardor, resurrects
all that you had passed, intentionally
without thought or even a consideration .....
worth, for the millions of dollars
the pauper had contemplated and lost;
In the mired slugfest of unrelenting intentions
I look no further for your illicit ostentations
as portentous as it is, of unnerving
unsatisfying, embellished illusions
I choose you to have your way
as I lie here, with un-solicited recollections.

don't know for it is difficult to read the mind of a woman .... of thousands of attempts that a man makes, always somehow knowing he will fail but still hoping and desiring not to fail this time ..... and giving it one more shot ... and if she doent listen well i guess he simply has to move on
--- call it pride of a man if u may but he simply has to let it go at one point ... right? wht say

I say its difficult to read any human mind coz whatz inside your heart is known only to you however close you are to the other person. I think I left few notes in my twitter saying " to let go is like losing yourself".
You cannot let go of many things which you desire or treasure. Is that true?

and yeah i agree with ur twitter :)it is always difficult to let go ... very difficult
and yes it is difficult to read any mind but believe me more so of women, atleast for me .... all the women that I have met and known in my life, i cannot claim to have known anyone fully ... i must be really pathetic for I have failed miserably in simply understanding in wht goes inside their mind ... wht they were thinking etc etc :)

Reading all the comments Alok I'd like to add this: Perhaps if a man was more open to his feelings and a woman was more reticent about hers there would come that perfect harmony. Each can learn from the other.
Your poem with its superb imagery and poignancy is indicative of a lot of relationships these days.

Yes I think you are right ... open communication and dialogue is such an important premise for starting, maintaining and sustaining a relationship ... somewhere down the line we tend to ignore this very premise on which any relationship is built ... but i guess the balance that each one of us are trying to seek and achieve is just so ethereal

This is closer to my heart. There is a twilight zone between one moment and the other .. but its always better to let go .. if one can.. (I think its always easier for men to move on .. :D )
That aside, loved the piece your lyrical virtuosity is quite compelling .. and you fuse each line with apt emotions ..
simple solution: open communications, both ways... easier said than done, though

I think respect of space between 2 individuals if not compromised can go a long way in ensuring a healty relationship

Well, believe me from my perspective men suffer as much if not more, its just that they need to have a straight face to every single adversity faced it in life that they r misunderstood .... From a personal experience, it is a pain to let go (I guess me being a cancerian gotta play a role in that too, never easy but yes sometimes I did make it look easy but believe me it was not
