Feudalistic fate ...

thousand scenes of pillages
lay fallen, secured
in the hands of
marauding band ….

in the mirage of his
prospective dream,
the farmer hoes his field ….
in brandish glare of the sun.

Alok,

How beautiful you have pictured the working scene of a farmer in a hot sun. Lovely.

Alok,

That was brilliant...

Though many scenes of pillaging occurs, the farmer was very confident in his dream and he was working hard in the hot sun. Iam sure that his hardwork never fails.

I think, this relates to us too. Illegal things are happening in this world. At present, we cant control it. So, be confident in all your works. Our hardwork too never fails.

a whole lot of images and emotions reading this poem.
and i can see it.. very well done!

as for the emotions..
yet through it all, through all the obstacles and challenges to the dream, man does make thigns happen.
the farmer does feed the world.

i doff my hat to that farmer!!!
salute his courage, his strength! i think that is an excellent metaphor too for those who fight against all the odds and the reward is not always in terms of money. its a a hard life indeed and the common avergae guy who lives it decently and works hard is the real hero. loved it alok!

Destruction or stewardship? the choice is ours. I like the sharply contrasting imagery.
