The shadow on that wall is yours. It doesn’t have your physical vigour but I can read that pristine mind; The clearness of vision, the strength of understanding, the precision of thought.

Don’t look at me like that. Yes, I am mindful of what had transpired between us last night. I can still sense your leap from the corner of our room. The rest as they say is history, buried peacefully in my recesses.

You called me a lousy dreamer. That we all are. We all are weaving magical dreams. Its just that the fabric is different and the art copyrighted.

Just loved the last lines and we are stitched in pieces right from the beginning isn't it.

poets make a new world each moment... from now on, i love shadows more... you taught me how to read their minds...
:)
really touched... and deeply...

This is very good Alok!

My favourite line? "I can still sense your leap from the corner of our room."

Nice, poetic eloquence here, Alok..

was looking at "human being"'s comment --poets making a new world...

and I am reminded of a quote, which goes something like:

**Nations are born in the minds of poets and killed in the hands of politicians**

Let the spirit of poets prevail...

"Live your life the way you want."

i remember that previously you had this sentence regarding yourself: i live my life the way i want...

now you address others... this change strikes me whenever i come here... and tells me a lot about us human beings... about the path we are taking... about the change of perspective... about growing...

we grow through our friends experiences too... isn't it beautiful?

congratulations are in order, right? :) i remember something vaguely, that penetrated some of my stupor. congratulations and may happiness be yours. I missed our chats and your friendship.

And no, no dreams are lousy and dreamers not at all.

Hi Alok, how are you? When is your BIG DAY?:)

human being said...

knock! knock!
the door is unlocked
and the poet's not home
oh yes... he's out again
to take another walk

today he passed my abode -
twelve shiny gems
was what he generously
bestowed

now i'm here to leave him a note
saying all through the day
i heard his footsteps
echoed

do poets ever turn back to see
a forest of poetry grows
where they happened to be?

they go on and on and on
till our awareness starts to dawn...
