scalding rills blubber
soldering thoughts together
hay carts after hay carts
over a pronged night’s fissure
what oasis - what water -
caravan’s restless demeanor ….

the granger moves rather
no vengeance thunders
even if lightning gallops
faster than cover;
fate is that so -
only if death was lateral ….

Mystic Rose: :)

okie let me make some sense out of this scribbling (nonsensical as usual) ...

it is about a farmer who has lost his land and all assets and is forced to move ... and this tragedy has not only befallen on him but many in his community ... their tears are are talking in anguish (so scalding rills), and they are moving to another town ..... they are talking abt wht next and trying to reassure each other (so soldering thoughts)... so the caravan's context and rest in the first para is only an endeavor to explain how tiresome and heavy the night wld have been ...

but surprisingly .. the granger has no vengeance towards life or fate ... even when hardship (lightning) has befallen and shelter frm such hardship seems distinct ... he has accepted it as part of life ... he asks is it his fate and the answer he gets is if death was the only answer that wld have remained ... then it is fate ... it is not fate it is life .... the answer is to accept life and move on ... do better and overcome any hardship that has fallen in plate ....

Now we can also read it with an individual on whom hardship has befallen and how he would approach the life ... optimism or pessimism is all a mind game ..

:)

thanks

Alok

Demeanor is a word that I love, for more reasons than one..

And any piece of writing that has it, manages to catch my attention, presto!!

Its very painful to know abot dat farmer. Just by reading dis itself, i cant digest dis issue. Losing our property is really due to misfortune & iam sure he cant tolerate dis. but death is not the result for all this. he has to come up in life crossing all such obstacles....nice one buddy... tc..

oh man...reading your explanation, this is vast. I had more of a building an imaginary world type of idea...but you have created a macro world from a single perspective. this is great.
